GSG 1911 Range Report
After having waited for over a year for this gun, Davidson's sent me an email two nights ago telling me it was in. Ordered immediately. They had 25 available and a few hours later, they were all gone.

GSG has done their homework I am proud to say!
Took pistol apart, cleaned, lubed and re-assembled.*
Blew 160 rounds of Federal Bulk Pack thru it and it came back for more.
This gun is a work of art as far as I am concerned, for a 1911 in .22.
The accuracy in shooting at a bull target from 20 feet back is very good. I can tell, this gun has no problems in the accuracy department.
The trigger is....let me describe it to you....GREAT. It is at least as good as my Loaded Springfield and about as good as my Kimber Ultra.
Trigger extremely good, got it? You be the judge when you get yours.
The magazine is very well engineered. Gotta hand it to GSG.
I fired it in +1, many mags and no complaints.
I fired it as rapidly as I could pull the trigger on some mags and, no complaints.
The trigger, well, I have covered that, it is so good, I can not describe it further to you.

Pros: A nice 1911 in .22
Rapid shooting, no worries
Trigger is, well, GREAT!! You simply will not believe it
Magazine is well made and loads easily
Grips the same as my other 1911 guns [Springer Loaded, Kimber
Ultra, Charles Daly starter 1911]
Accuracy is really good, although I have no proof to show you yet

Cons: Take down of the pistol.... er, well, the owners manual is piss poor.
*They do not describe the hex screw you must take out from the
right side of the gun in order to remove the barell. OK....big
disconnect GSG!
They go about describing take down in a 1911 fashion but have it
ass-backwards as you will see when you get your copy.
Well, hells-bells, what are you waiting on? Get yours soon and post
back. I would like to see what other copies are like.
