American Tactical Incorporated (ATI) offers our customers a LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY for any currently available products. This includes firearm(s) purchased and registered with American Tactical Inc. after January 1, 2015. This warranty is applicable to the ORIGINAL OWNER only. A valid, original proof of purchase is required and should include the serial number for any serialized items. ATI reserves the right to reject any warranty claim without valid printed proof of purchase. Any firearm(s) that require cleaning upon arrival may be subject to a cleaning fee of $65 regardless of warranty status.
If you are not the original owner and/or if your firearm(s) were purchased prior to January 1, 2015, please see the section titled SERVICES OUTSIDE OF WARRANTY COVERAGE:
Warranty coverage is limited to parts availability at the time of service. American Tactical Inc. will continue to service any discontinued item(s) sold by ATI after January 1, 2015, provided parts remain available. Please note repairs of imported firearm(s) may experience delays based on the overseas manufacturer’s shipment of parts. American Tactical Inc. is not responsible for any compensation in lieu of these potential delays.
The warranties covered by American Tactical Inc. for imported products are implemented and monitored by the foreign manufacturers. American Tactical Inc. reserves the right to deny or decline any warranty services or products that do not meet the warranties implemented by these foreign manufacturers.
Our warranty extends to all item(s) as originally sold by ATI. This does not include firearms, parts or items altered after shipping from ATI, damaged through abuse, misuse or lack of proper care and maintenance or used for other than for their legal intended purposes. This warranty applies to functional aspects and excludes cosmetic only claims. Any claim of a cosmetic nature impacting the functional operation will be up to the discretion of American Tactical Inc. Service Center.
To the best extent possible, American Tactical Inc. will troubleshoot accuracy-related claims. However, due to the many factors that affect accuracy, accuracy-related warranty claims may be declined, and shipping charges may apply if no fault is found with the firearm. It is the policy of American Tactical Inc. that any replacement firearm or receiver be transferred via a Federal Firearms Licensed Dealer (FFL). American Tactical Inc. is not responsible for any transfer fees associated with replacement firearms.
NOTE: All American Tactical Omni and American Tactical Omni Hybrid AR receivers have a lifetime warranty for the original owner regardless of registration date.
NOTE REGARDING 22LR AMMUNITION
22LR ammunition tends to leave behind considerable residue when fired, so it's crucial to clean your firearm thoroughly before use. Different brands of ammo can affect your firearm's performance, so it's wise to experiment and find the one that works best for your gun. Semi-automatic 22LR firearms, in particular, are selective about the type and brand of ammo they prefer.
The use of 40 grain or higher weight ammo with a velocity of 1250+ feet per second is recommended. This is necessary to produce sufficient kinetic energy to cycle the weight of the entire slide on this firearm. “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction” Kinetic energy is ½ Mass x Velocity²
When firing 22LR ammo from a semi-automatic, the "direct blowback" action means that residue is inevitably blown back into the inner workings of the firearm. Over time, this buildup can lead to malfunctions such as feeding or ejection issues. It's important to avoid over-lubricating your firearm, as excess oil can mix with powder residue, creating a gritty paste that exacerbates malfunctions.
Instead, start with a clean firearm with minimal lubrication, as this allows it to function smoothly for extended periods. Ideally, thoroughly clean your firearm after each shooting session to prevent residue from accumulating and causing friction. Remember, oil attracts powder residue, so it's best to use it sparingly to maintain optimal performance.
American Tactical Inc. provides warranty evaluation services, repairs, and parts for our imported and domestic brand products. If you believe your ATI product needs service, please contact our Customer Service Department via email at customerservice@americantactical.us to request service.
All items require a Return Authorization (RA) to receive service. When requesting an RA for service, please submit the following in your email to us.
Once the above details are obtained, a Customer Service representative will provide a Return Authorization (RA) number. That number must be placed on the outside of the package; visible for our Returns Department to be accepted into the facility. NOTE: Packages that do not visibly show the RA number will be denied access into American Tactical Inc. facilities and returned to sender without notification.
Any item(s) sent in for warranty must comply with your local, state, and federal regulations in order to be returned to you. This includes, but is not limited to, magazine capacity limits and/or features of the firearm or accessory. American Tactical is not responsible for any laws or regulations that prevent the return of your items.
All firearms (pistols, rifles, shotguns, and serialized receivers) being sent in for service must be registered through the American Tactical website (https://www.americantactical.us/warranty.html) or by mailing in the firearm’s warranty card to receive warranty services. Firearms that are not registered may be serviced but will be subject to charge.
Following the creation of the RA, you will receive an automated email confirmation that will include the instructions on how to return the firearm. American Tactical Inc reserves the right to require the complete firearm to be shipped for proper troubleshooting, repair, and testing in service of warranty, to the extent possible by current local, state, and federal regulation. Failure to meet this requirement may result in denial of service. Any firearm(s) that require cleaning upon arrival will be subject to a cleaning fee of $65 regardless of warranty status.
American Tactical Inc. will cover shipping expenses for items within the first year of ownership for the original owner if a valid proof of purchase receipt is provided. ATI Customer Service will submit a prepaid shipping label to be emailed to you via the FedEx website. Please monitor your email spam folder for your FedEx shipping label. To avoid any refusals or delays, carefully follow the instructions provided in the RA confirmation email to ensure any firearm shipped is properly received by our Service Department.
PLEASE NOTE: For item(s) received and discovered to be out of warranty coverage, American Tactical reserves the right to collect for shipping charges prior to return of item(s).
American Tactical Inc. will only cover valid warranty shipping cost in the contiguous United States. Any shipping cost incurred from/to outside locations, e.g. Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, will be the responsibility of the individual filing the warranty claim.
A shipping fee of $25 per item will be the responsibility of the owner of the item(s). Once the details have been received to create the Return Authorization, ATI will contact the customer to collect payment for the shipment of the item(s). ATI Customer Service will then create a shipping label that will be emailed to the customer from FedEx. If no email address is available, a printed label will be mailed to the customer. Any firearm(s) classified as a handgun MUST be shipped via a 2-Day service. Please monitor your email spam folder for your FedEx shipping label. To avoid any refusals or delays, carefully follow the instructions provided in the RA confirmation email to ensure your firearm is properly received by our Service Department.
Any firearm(s) or serialized components returned to ATI for service can only be shipped to and from the address provided to ATI Customer Service when the RA was created. If you are no longer able to receive the serialized item(s) at the address originally provided to American Tactical Inc., these items must then be sent to a licensed dealer with a current Federal Firearms License (FFL). PLEASE NOTE: This includes any addressing error originally provided to ATI to create the Return Authorization. If you must have your serialized items returned to a valid FFL dealer, American Tactical Inc. is not responsible for any fees or cost associated with the return shipment (ex: transfer fees). It is the duty of the customer to notify ATI of any issues or concerns regarding the return shipment of the firearm at the time the RA is issued.
Please do not ship any live rounds of ammunition and/or aftermarket parts or accessories. Sending of spent rounds must be approved by ATI Customer Service in advance. Shipping ammunition may result in penalties as deemed appropriate by the shipping company or Federal, State or Local law. American Tactical Inc. is not responsible for replacement of any aftermarket parts or accessories that may have been lost, damaged or otherwise unable to be returned to the customer.
Once your product is received by our Returns Department, an email notification will be sent to inform you that the product has been received and has been placed into our service system. All firearms serviced will include a service report from the gunsmith who performed the repair work. Each report will detail the issues discovered, if any, what corrections were made, what parts were repaired or replaced and how many test fire rounds were successfully put through the firearm prior to return. Once your item has been serviced, you will receive an email notification that the firearm or product is shipping back to you.
If an item is deemed to be faulty and cannot be repaired, American Tactical Inc. will replace it with an identical item. For firearms, this includes model, caliber/gauge, and color. If an identical firearm is not available, ATI will replace it with a firearm of equal value to be determined at our discretion. This warranty does not allow for monetary compensation for any items purchased by the end user at the retail level. Any and all claims for monetary return must be addressed with the retail location from which the end user purchased the ATI branded domestic or imported items and will be subject to the terms and conditions of that retail locations returns policies. American Tactical Inc. is not liable for any returns, claims, nor policies from independent resellers of ATI products.
Any firearm(s) requiring service outside of the scope of manufacturer warranty require a minimum fee of $90 US dollars. This includes a $25 shipping and handling fee for return shipping expenses and a $65 service evaluation. This fee must be paid prior to issuance of a RA from Customer Service. Once the fee is collected, Customer Service will create a Return Authorization and submit it to FedEx to email you a prepaid shipping label.
Once inspected, you will receive a service quote for the cost of parts and labor for any fees required to service the firearm. No service work will be performed without authorization following issuance of the quote. Should the service quote be accepted, all fees must be paid prior to return of the firearm to the customer. Please note that the $65 service evaluation will be deducted and be applied towards your approved repair. Should the service quote be refused, no work will be performed, and the firearm will be returned to the customer in the condition in which it was received. If no response to an issued quote is received by American Tactical within 30 days of issuance, the firearm will be returned to the customer in the condition in which it was received.
All payments can be made through ATI Customer Service via Credit/Debit Card or by mailing a money order addressed to American Tactical at 231 Deming Way Summerville, SC 29483.

Update July 29, 2016
Following several communications between American Tactical and the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, the MA AG has agreed to allow warranty repairs and replacements of copy/duplicate firearms now tied to the enumerated firearms list for firearms purchased before July 20, 2016. The MA AG office has updated their information in their Q&A section at this website: http://www.mass.gov/ago/public-safety/awbe.html which now includes the following dialogue:
Q: May I return a weapon covered by the Enforcement Notice to a manufacturer after July 20, 2016 for repairs or replacement under warranty? And may the manufacturer return it to me thereafter?
A: Yes. If you purchased the weapon prior to July 20, 2016 you may return the weapon to the manufacturer, who may then return it to you after repairs are complete.
Under our warranty policy, should a firearm purchased before July 20 , 2016 on the MA enumerated firearms list need replacement with a different serial number, American Tactical will provide a signed letter detailing the reason for replacement and reference this warranty repair statement on the MA AG’s website.
We thank all our customers in Massachusetts for their patience while we worked with the MA AG’s office to allow us to continue to provide you with our quality products and customer services.
